Nicole grew up in the Brighton area, less than 10 miles from our South Lyon office.

After graduating from Brighton High School, already knowing she wanted to be an attorney, Nicole spent the next four years in East Lansing where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Michigan State University. Go Green! She went on to graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Nicole worked for a large bankruptcy firm for a short time before opening her own bankruptcy firm, which she operated for six years. Knowing that bankruptcy was not something she wanted to continue to practice, Nicole decided to close her firm and focus on a new beginning.

Nicole is now practicing a completely different area of law and couldn’t be happier working on probate and estate planning. She truly believes that this is where she was meant to be. Finding a new passion for the law while being able to help people is something that means a lot to her.

When Nicole is not at the office or in court, you can usually find her with her husband, Justin, and two young kids, Landon and Lily.

Nicole volunteers with her children’s school events and parties whenever she can. She also enjoys coaching her son’s soccer team while her daughter helps her as the assistant coach. Nicole has always loved playing soccer. She has played since she was a kid herself. In fact, you can still find her on the field at least once a week with one of the teams she still plays on.

“After another office failed to resolve my grandmother’s estate and stopped responding to my dad and I, we got Julie involved and she resolved it expeditiously and for reasonable rates. My only regret is not having her as the executor from the beginning - or better yet having her do a trust for my grandmother in the first place.”
